My Adventures in Quietude

Hello? Anybody still dropping by?

(Giggle!)

If anyone’s still reading, a lovely hello to you! :-) Otherwise, I’ll just pretend I’m talking to the wall…so hi, wall!

The weeks that have gone by had been incredibly busy and lazy, but since I have decided to take a break and relax a bit, I now have the precious time to write something on my blog. Isn’t that amazing?

So.. what have I been up to recently? Tons of adventures! And I’ll be telling you all about them in the following days. Oh yes, this time, I really will.

There was the Novel Challenge, which was a reading marathon held to raise funds for people suffering from multiple sclerosis. I was able to raise a few bucks, but hopefully it would make a difference, even just a little bit.

From the Novel Challenge, I got introduced to the novels of Agatha Christie, which I found so interesting that I have hated them a few times, because I got so engrossed in reading them that I missed my bus stop and realized it when I was already a couple of stops away! Such was my love-hate relationship with Agatha’s books.

Then, of course you know, there were the markets and all the crafty projects I made. Though I have not made a big profit yet, I’m still optimistic that I will in the future markets, so I’m not giving up on that… just taking a short break.

There was also the adventure with the NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) clearance. That’s the police clearance in the Philippines. It was such a challenge that I decided I should blog about it later, so I can offer advises to those who might be needing it in the future.

And, after nearly a year of being married, I finally changed my surname in my passport. Happy is the husband! Woohoo!!!

Spring is already here in Melbourne, so it’s bye-bye super-freezing days and hello to warmer days.

I went to NBI last week to renew mine and it’s very irritating because I waited for almost 12 hours for it… waaah
