What a week it is for many of us and our countries! First, there is the appointment of the new and first woman prime minister of Australia, Julia Gillard. Then, there is the inauguration of the new president of the Philippines, Benigno Aquino III, who is the son of the late first woman president of the same country. And of course, tomorrow, it is the fourth of July, a day of celebrating freedom in the land of the free and home of the brave, the United States of America.
